Leftover Easter Candy? Make Cookie Pies!

A simple solution with ingredients you probably already have around the kitchen.



Start with a pre-made 9″ pie crust. Roll it out slightly from the packaging. Use any shape cookie cutter you like, or even the rim of a glass to make about 12 pieces of mini pie crust.


Set 1/2 of the pieces aside to use later as the top. Egg wash the bottom pieces and start placing your candy inside.

We used leftover chocolate chips and bunny marshmallows to create smore’s pies!


Place the other set aside pieces of pie crust on top and seal all the edges using a fork to gently press the two halves together.

We did all of this on parchment paper placed in a baking sheet for easy baking and cooling.


Egg wash the tops of your cookie pies, and sprinkle a bit of sugar over the tops.

Finally, bake at 350 for 20-25 min or until golden brown!


Other variations include: cherry & cream cheese, berries, chocolate & nuts, or candy bars.
